It has begun...

Wow! Within three weeks Sawyer learned to sit up, crawl and stand up. All she wants to do now though is pull her self up and stand. As parents we are floored that Sawyer continues to develop. We are so thankful that she is healthy and growing. One the other hand, we realize that now, we have to watch her every move and be ready to chase her down. She already obtained a battle wound when her curiosity lead her to try to climb up a 12 pack of soda which toppled down onto her face and gave her a little cut under the eye. That was the first of many spills to come.

In early December Sawyer and I flew to Washington to visit my best friend and her new baby. Mason, who was born November 16 was 3 weeks old when we visited. It was not too long ago that Sawyer was that age but I couldn't remember Sawyer being that small. It is amazing how fast babies grow and change in such a short amount of time. Thanksgiving

The holidays are always a crazy time for us, like most people I am sure. We spent Thanksgiving with my mom this year. It is fun to celebrate all the "first" holidays with Sawyer and as a family of three. It seems that everyone is so excited to see us, but we know that it is really just excitement to see Sawyer ; ).
